FPARC Experimenter’s Day
I (Harry G7LMJ) have arranged an ad-hoc Experimenter’s Day at the Fort on 22 March 2025.
This is subject to weather and will be postponed if the weather looks horrible.
Timings:
- 09:30 hrs till mid-afternoon.
Attendance:
Please let me know if you are going to take part and your activity:
- Setting up your mobile rig and transmitting.
- Coming along for a chat.
- Just curious!
Club Members: contact me via Groups.IO, our WhatsApp channel, or my email address.
Club Guests/Visitors: contact me via our website’s contact page (General Enquiries).
Instructions:
- All members, visitors & guests must sign-in at the reception when you arrive, and sign-out again when you leave.
- FPARC members must wear their FPARC member badge.
- Car movements must be at walking pace to the Stone Store (children’s activities are likely on the parade ground).
- Be careful not to interfere with other Fort activities.
- Bring your own drinks and sandwiches (not sure if a kettle will be available).
- I don’t intend to get anything from the Stone Store, as it must be returned.
- I may put up my gazebo subject to weather and numbers.
- I will bring a First Aid Kit (basic).
- Low power transmission band plan cooperation.
Please welcome and encourage our guests from our last club meeting if they manage to join us.

IF YOU BROUGHT your magmount to February’s club meeting, please bring it again to the Experimenter’s Field Day so that Chris G3WIE might take further measurements with the mounts in situ on car roofs etc. Thank you 👍📡
