MB7IFA (Fareham) – New Dedicated Antenna

MB7IFA (145.2625Mhz) – a simplex gateway near Fareham – has a new dedicated antenna using the Big Signal CQ-2 single element Quad.

Initial results are very encouraging.

From James Callahan Drive (7.5 miles East) on the top of Portsdown Hill, the signal is fully quieting on a mobile setup and extends as far as J7 M27 (approx 5 miles West).

MB7IFA is on 145.2625MHz, 71.9Hz CTCSS, and is available 24/7 on the FreeSTAR network.
