Silent Key Support
We regularly assist bereaved families with finding buyers for SK† equipment.
When someone loses a loved one, they may be at a loss as to how to dispose of the loved one’s hobby belongings. A club with experience in handling used amateur radio equipment after a bereavement can be a godsend, especially at distressing times like these.
Reselling Amateur Radio Equipment
Talk with us about how we can help with the reselling and/or donating of bequeathed amateur radio equipment.
We will treat your situation with respect and ensure that the equipment finds good homes with people who appreciate its value.
Your passed family member need not have been a member of our club.
We will discuss options with you and how you might prefer to receive any funds raised by Silent Key equipment sales; whatever works best.

When there’s a death in the family, we can help resell/donate bequeathed radio equipment

† Silent Key is a term of respect for a deceased amateur radio operator. The “key” refers to a telegraph key, the instrument that all early amateur radio operators (as well as many contemporary amateur radio operators) used to send Morse code. Silent Key is the analogy of bereavement.
